Information MakerVista uses
When you create an account, MakerVista uses account information such as your email address. If you connect an Etsy shop, MakerVista processes the Etsy shop, listing, order, sales, fee, and related business information needed to provide the features you use.
Etsy authorization
You authorize MakerVista through Etsy. MakerVista does not ask for or receive your Etsy password. Access can be disconnected from MakerVista, and Etsy controls the authorization process.
Workspace separation
MakerVista is designed so each account works inside its own workspace. Business records are associated with that workspace so one customer’s operational data is not intentionally presented to another customer.
How information is used
Information is used to operate MakerVista features such as sales analytics, inventory and cost tools, Etsy synchronization, product performance, and other features you choose to use. MakerVista does not claim ownership of your shop data.
Homepage analytics
We use a first-party cookie lasting up to 30 days to recognize a browser visiting our homepage. We record homepage views, Free Shop Review button clicks, a broad traffic-source category, and whether that browser creates an account. Our analytics records do not store IP addresses, full referral URLs, or passwords. Browser identifiers may be associated with account signup metadata. These counts help us understand how people find MakerVista. This tracking is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Clearing cookies resets the browser identifier.
Beta service
MakerVista is currently an Early Access Beta. Features and data-handling practices may be refined as the product develops. Material changes to this policy should be reflected on this page.
